Is this website screenshot tool free?

Yes, our tool is completely free to use with no limitations. You can capture as many screenshots as you need without signing up or paying anything.

How does the screenshot capture work?

We use a real headless browser (Chromium) on our servers to open your URL, render the full page — including JavaScript, CSS, fonts, and images — and then capture a high-quality screenshot. This means even complex pages with dynamic content are captured accurately.

Is my data secure?

The screenshot is generated on our servers using a headless browser. We don't store the generated screenshots or your URLs after the capture is complete. The image is streamed directly to your browser for preview and download.

Can I capture password-protected pages?

No, the tool can only capture publicly accessible webpages. Pages that require login or authentication cannot be accessed by our server.

What is the difference between viewport only and full page?

"Viewport only" captures what you would see on screen at the selected resolution without scrolling. "Full page scroll" captures the entire page from top to bottom, including all content below the fold. Full page mode is great for long articles and landing pages.

Should I choose PNG or JPEG?

PNG provides lossless quality and supports transparency, making it ideal for screenshots with text, sharp edges, and UI elements. JPEG produces smaller files but uses lossy compression, which is better when file size matters more than pixel-perfect accuracy.

Can I use this on mobile?
