Is this SVG to PNG converter free?

Yes, completely free with no limits. Your SVG files are processed entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server. You can convert as many files as you want.

What scale factor should I use?

For standard screens, 1x is sufficient. For Retina/HiDPI displays, use 2x. For print or very large displays, 3x or 4x will give you the sharpest results. You can also enter custom dimensions to get exactly the size you need.

Will the PNG have a transparent background?

What if my SVG has no width or height attributes?

The converter reads the viewBox attribute as a fallback. If neither width/height nor viewBox are defined, it defaults to 300x150 pixels. You can always override the output size with custom dimensions.
