Is this SVG to JPG converter free?

What happens to transparency when converting SVG to JPG?

What quality setting should I use?

For most uses, 92% (the default) provides an excellent balance between quality and file size. For web use, 80-85% is usually sufficient and produces noticeably smaller files. For print or archival purposes, use 95-100% for maximum quality.

What scale factor should I use?

For standard screens, 1x is sufficient. For Retina/HiDPI displays, use 2x. For print or very large displays, 3x or 4x will give you the sharpest results. You can also enter custom dimensions to get exactly the size you need.

Why choose JPG over PNG for my SVG conversion?

JPG produces significantly smaller file sizes than PNG, making it ideal for photographs, web pages, email attachments, and social media posts. Choose JPG when you do not need transparency and want the smallest possible file. Choose PNG when you need transparency or pixel-perfect lossless quality.

What if my SVG has no width or height attributes?

The converter reads the viewBox attribute as a fallback. If neither width/height nor viewBox are defined, it defaults to 300x150 pixels. You can always override the output size with custom dimensions.

Can I convert SVG to JPG for social media?

Why does my JPG look blurry?

This can happen if the output dimensions are too small for the detail in your SVG, or if the quality setting is too low. Try increasing the scale factor to 2x or 3x, or enter larger custom dimensions. Also try increasing the quality slider to 95% or above.

What is the maximum file size I can convert?

The tool accepts SVG files up to 10MB. Since all processing happens in your browser, very complex SVGs with many paths may take a moment to render depending on your device.
