Is this image cropper free?

Yes, completely free with no limits. Your images are processed entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server.

Will cropping reduce image quality?

Cropping itself does not reduce quality — it simply removes the outer parts of the image. The cropped area retains full original resolution. Output quality depends on the format and quality slider setting you choose.

What aspect ratios are available?

You can crop with free-form selection or lock to common aspect ratios: 1:1 (square), 16:9 (widescreen), 4:3 (standard), 3:2 (photo), 2:3 (portrait photo), and 9:16 (vertical/stories).

Can I crop to exact pixel dimensions?

The crop tool lets you select any area on the image interactively. The final cropped dimensions are shown before you download. For exact pixel sizes, you can combine this with our Image Resizer tool.

What image formats are supported?

This tool accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP images up to 50MB. You can also choose a different output format — for example, crop a PNG and save as WebP for a smaller file size.
