Summarize with AI:
Discover the best MCP servers for marketing in 2026. Learn how AI agents can automate SEO research, social media publishing, creative production, analytics, and other marketing workflows using tools like Templated, PostPeer, ScrapeBadger, Ahrefs, and more.

Since 2010, I’ve built software and automated repetitive work. So when MCP started showing up across AI tools, I was intrigued.

Anthropic released the Model Context Protocol in late 2024, and adoption moved quickly from coding assistants into agents, AI products, and tools like Cowork. An MCP server connects an AI assistant to the external tools, services, and data it needs to actually do something useful.

I started using MCP for coding and product work, and it made tasks like working with code, connecting services, pulling data, testing ideas, and handling parts of product workflows much easier.

I’ve used that thinking to build and improve Templated's features.

As a SaaS founder, I’ve always kept an eye on marketing. In the age of AI, change comes quickly, and efficiency is everything. That’s why I brought MCP into our marketing efforts, too.

Our SEO and marketing team works across Search Console, content, social platforms, creative assets, and reporting, so MCP could save time in plenty of places.

We started using different servers for those jobs, kept the ones that were genuinely useful, and used that experience to build this list of the 10 Best MCP servers for marketing in 2026 and beyond.

If you find this blog helpful, consider bookmarking it. You can always return to revisit the right MCPs for your projects. This resource is likely to be useful more than once.

Let’s explore.

Find the Right MCP Server for Your Marketing Workflow

You probably do not need all eight. Start with the job you want the AI to handle, then use the table below to narrow the list.

MCP ServerBest Marketing UseChoose It If You Want ToWhat You Should Know
Templated MCPCreative automationGenerate and update social graphics, product images, PDFs, videos, and campaign variations from reusable templatesBest when you already work with repeatable designs. Supports AI clients plus coding tools such as Lovable, Replit, v0, and Base44.
PostPeer MCPSocial media publishingCreate, schedule, edit, and publish posts across several social networks from an AI agentBest for social execution rather than research. Supports 10 publishing destinations and requires a PostPeer account and access key.
ScrapeBadger MCPLive marketing researchTrack SERPs, research competitors, monitor Reddit and social conversations, study ads, marketplaces, local SEO, and AI visibilityBest when your agent needs fresh public web data. Historical rank tracking requires you to save repeated SERP checks yourself.
Google Search Console MCPFirst-party SEO dataAnalyze queries, pages, CTR, impressions, average position, indexing, cannibalization, and sitemap issuesBest if Search Console is already central to your SEO work. It is an unofficial open-source MCP and requires Google Cloud/OAuth setup.
Supermetrics MCPCross-channel marketing analyticsAnalyze GA4, Search Console, paid ads, CRM, ecommerce, and other connected marketing sources togetherBest when your data is spread across several platforms. Particularly useful for connecting SEO visibility with traffic and conversions.
Ahrefs MCPSEO researchResearch keywords, competitors, backlinks, content gaps, rankings, technical SEO, and AI visibilityBest for teams already paying for Ahrefs. MCP access starts with Lite; Starter does not include it. API & Integration units are consumed when you use it.
HubSpot MCPMarketing content and campaign dataReview campaign and content performance, analyze conversion pages, and create or edit HubSpot landing pages with AIBest when HubSpot already holds your marketing data and content. MCP access itself does not cost extra, but available features still depend on your HubSpot plan.
Klaviyo MCPEmail, SMS, and retention marketingAnalyze campaigns and flows, build segments, work on emails, manage lifecycle campaigns, and use customer/product dataBest for ecommerce and retention teams. Klaviyo offers read-only controls if you do not want the AI changing a live account.

1. Templated MCP

Templated is an API for generating images, PDFs, and videos from reusable templates. You design the template once, then change its text, images, colors, or other layers whenever you need another version.

Templated’s MCP server brings that work into AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor. Connect your Templated account, describe what you want, and the assistant can choose the relevant Templated tools and carry out the request.

That changes the experience quite a bit if you already use Templated for creative automation. Instead of switching to the dashboard or writing an API request for every job, you can handle many of those jobs from the AI tool where you are already working.

Features

  • 25 documented MCP tools across six areas: renders, templates, folders, uploads, fonts, and account information
  • Works with ChatGPT, Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, Claude Code, and Cursor. Templated tools are also available in Cowork through Claude’s connector
  • Supports a hosted remote server at mcp.templated.io/mcp and a local server through npx
  • Remote connections can use OAuth, while API-key authentication is available for automations and server-to-server setups
  • Generates JPG, PNG, WebP, PDF, and MP4 files
  • Lets you scope access by folder ID, external ID, or both, which is useful when an agent should only see one customer’s resources
  • Supports natural-language requests, so you do not have to remember the MCP tool names or their parameters

A few tools are particularly handy. create_render produces an asset from a template, while get_template_layers lets the assistant inspect the editable parts first. clone_template creates another version without changing the source template, and merge_renders combines selected renders into a PDF.

What Can You Do With It?

If you already use Templated for image automation, this is probably the simplest way to think about its MCP: a lot of the work you normally trigger yourself can now start with a prompt.

Say you already have a branded product-launch template. You could ask your assistant to find it, inspect the available layers, change the headline and product image, and generate the new creative. Then ask for several campaign versions with different copy instead of editing each one separately.

You can use the same setup for social graphics, ecommerce images, PDFs, certificates, multi-page designs, and MP4 videos. The assistant can create or clone templates, work with their layers and pages, upload images from a URL, add custom fonts, create folders, find previous renders, or check your remaining credits.

If you do vibe coding, Templated MCP works with Lovable, Replit, v0, and Base44, so marketers can use an AI coding agent while building Templated into a product. One documented example is a social-post generator where users enter a headline and choose a template, then the app uses Templated to create the image.

You can take that further with customer-facing AI features. Templated lets you scope an MCP connection by an external ID or folder, so one customer’s agent session can be limited to that customer’s templates and renders. The MCP server applies the restriction rather than relying on the model to follow an instruction.

For a conventional backend integration with no AI agent involved, Templated’s REST API is the more direct route. MCP makes more sense when an assistant or agent needs to understand a request and decide which Templated action to run.

You need a Templated account to use the MCP. Supported remote clients can connect through OAuth by signing in to Templated, while local or automated setups can use an API key. Templated currently offers new users a 50-credit free trial with no credit card required, so you can test the workflow before taking a paid plan.

Best for: Marketing teams already producing repeatable creative assets, developers building AI-powered image or document workflows, and SaaS products that want an agent to create or manage Templated assets for their users.

2. PostPeer MCP

PostPeer is a social media API that gives you one integration for publishing, scheduling, and managing posts across X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Facebook, Threads, and Google Business Profile.

Its MCP server puts those API operations inside an AI client. Connect PostPeer to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or another compatible MCP client, add your access key, and the agent can work with your connected social accounts without you having to make each API call yourself.

PostPeer’s current MCP documentation lists 34 tools. They cover posting, scheduling, connected accounts, analytics, profiles, AI helpers, and other public PostPeer API operations.

Features

  • Hosted MCP server at https://mcp.postpeer.dev/mcp, with nothing to run locally
  • Works with ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and other Streamable HTTP MCP clients
  • Uses a PostPeer access key for authentication
  • Supports publishing across 10 destinations: X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Facebook, Threads, and Google Business Profile
  • Publish immediately, save a draft, or schedule content for a specific date and time
  • Supports IANA time zones such as America/New_York, Europe/London, or Asia/Tokyo
  • Send one request to multiple social accounts and give individual platforms their own copy
  • Work with images, videos, and GIFs where the selected network supports them
  • List scheduled posts, change their publishing time, cancel them, or edit their content and media before they go live
  • Pull post analytics through the same PostPeer connection
  • Includes AI tools for writing social captions and generating images
  • Uses the same PostPeer API account, permissions, credits, and rate limits underneath the MCP

Some tools are worth knowing even if you normally let the agent choose them. create_post handles publishing and scheduling, while list_integrations shows which social accounts are connected. get_analytics retrieves post metrics, and the AI tools can write a caption or generate an image before publishing anything.

There are platform-specific helpers as well. Pinterest requires a board before a Pin can be published, so the MCP can first retrieve your available boards. TikTok requires creator information and valid privacy options, which PostPeer can fetch before the agent attempts the post.

What Can You Do With It?

The obvious use is giving an AI agent control over the social publishing work you would otherwise handle through separate API calls or dashboards.

You could ask it to check your connected accounts, prepare a post for LinkedIn and X, write different copy for each network, and schedule both for tomorrow morning. If plans change later, the agent can find the scheduled post and move it to another time or cancel it.

It can go further than scheduling. PostPeer lets you edit scheduled posts before publication, including their text, media, target platforms, platform settings, and publishing time. That gives you room to work with an agent without treating its first version as final.

For a larger campaign, one agent workflow could generate a caption, create an image, publish the content across selected accounts, and later retrieve the available performance data. You still control which accounts are connected and what the agent can call through your PostPeer credentials.

Developers can also use the MCP as another interface to PostPeer’s API. Your application might call the REST API directly for fixed actions, while an AI agent uses MCP when the action depends on what the user asks. Both routes ultimately use PostPeer underneath.

Best for: Social media teams, SaaS products, developers, and AI-agent workflows that need to publish, schedule, edit, or review content across several social networks from one connection.

3. ScrapeBadger MCP

ScrapeBadger is a web scraping and data API for pulling current information from search engines, social platforms, marketplaces, AI answer engines, and public websites.

Its MCP server gives AI agents access to more than 300 of those data tools. For marketers, that means you can bring live search, competitor, social, ecommerce, and AI-visibility data directly into tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients.

Features

  • 300+ MCP tools across Google, X/Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Amazon, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other sources
  • Hosted MCP connection at https://mcp.scrapebadger.com/mcp
  • Supports OAuth in compatible clients and API-key authentication for other setups
  • Returns structured data that an AI agent can search, compare, and analyze
  • Includes general web scraping for data outside its dedicated APIs
  • MCP calls use the same ScrapeBadger credit system as its REST APIs

What Can You Do With It?

  • Rank tracking: Pull live Google results and record where your pages rank for target keywords.
  • SERP research: Check organic listings, ads, People Also Ask, featured snippets, related searches, Local Pack results, and AI Overviews when returned.
  • Keyword research: Use Google Trends, autocomplete, related queries, and regional search-interest data.
  • Competitor research: Study competing websites, YouTube channels, social posts, reviews, products, and marketplace listings.
  • Reddit research: Find brand mentions, competitor discussions, recommendation threads, questions, and domain mentions.
  • Social listening: Research public mentions, trends, comments, hashtags, communities, and conversations across supported social platforms.
  • Content research: Pull YouTube transcripts, comments, search results, and other public content to find topics and audience language.
  • AEO/GEO monitoring: Check brand visibility and citations in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
  • Local SEO: Research Google Maps businesses, reviews, ratings, categories, and nearby competitors.
  • Ad research: Pull supported Facebook Ad Library and TikTok ad data.
  • Ecommerce research: Analyze Amazon products, prices, offers, reviews, sellers, bestsellers, and deals.
  • News monitoring: Search Google News for brand, competitor, product, or industry coverage.

For rank tracking, ScrapeBadger provides the live SERP position. For historical movement, you still need to run those checks repeatedly and save the results.

Best for: SEO teams, agencies, content marketers, ecommerce teams, and AEO/GEO marketers who want current web and platform data available inside an AI workflow.

4. Google Search Console MCP (Unofficial)

Google does not currently maintain an official Search Console MCP. The one I’d look at is mcp-gsc, an open-source project by SEO strategist Amin Foroutan that connects Google Search Console to AI assistants.

It has about 1.5k GitHub stars and more than 200 forks, which is a decent signal for such a specific SEO tool.

I can see why it has found an audience. SEO teams already go to Search Console for clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, indexing, and sitemap information. This MCP lets an AI assistant work with that same Google data directly, so you can ask the questions you would normally investigate through filters, exports, and spreadsheets.

Features

  • 20 MCP tools covering Search Analytics, properties, URL inspection, indexing, sitemaps, and authentication
  • Open source under the MIT license
  • Current PyPI package is mcp-search-console v0.3.3
  • Works with Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, and other MCP-compatible clients
  • Supports Google OAuth and service-account authentication
  • Pulls clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position by query, page, country, device, and date
  • Includes four SEO skills for content opportunities, cannibalization checks, indexing audits, and weekly SEO reports
  • Can inspect individual URLs and batches of up to 10 URLs
  • Can read sitemap status, errors, and warnings, and submit new sitemaps
  • Destructive property and sitemap actions are switched off by default

What Can You Do With It?

  • Find SEO opportunities: Surface high-impression queries with weak CTR or rankings around positions 11 to 20.
  • Check cannibalization: Find searches where several URLs from the same site are receiving visibility.
  • Analyze pages: See which queries are producing clicks and impressions for a specific URL.
  • Investigate traffic drops: Pull performance data for different periods and see which pages or queries changed.
  • Run indexing checks: Review index status, crawl information, canonicals, and issues Google reports for important pages.
  • Break down performance: Analyze search traffic by country, device, query, page, or date.
  • Review sitemaps: Check submitted sitemaps and their reported errors or warnings.
  • Prepare recurring SEO reports: The repository includes a ready-made weekly SEO reporting skill.

I would still verify period-comparison numbers before putting them straight into a client report. There is currently an open GitHub issue reporting that the compare_search_periods tool can reverse the direction of Period 1 and Period 2 deltas.

Setup and cost: The open-source MCP itself is free, and Google says Search Console API usage is free subject to usage limits. Setup requires a Google Cloud project, the Search Console API enabled, and either OAuth credentials or a service account. The recommended install runs through uvx mcp-search-console; Cursor also offers a Marketplace install, although you still need to configure your Google credentials.

Best for: SEO and content teams that already spend time inside Search Console and want an AI assistant to investigate GSC data, indexing problems, content opportunities, and recurring SEO checks.

5. Supermetrics MCP

Supermetrics pulls marketing and sales data from platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce, Shopify, and other supported sources.

Its MCP server gives an AI agent access to those connected accounts through one connection. Instead of exporting GA4, Search Console, and ad data separately, you can ask questions inside ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or another compatible client and have the agent query the source data for you.

For marketers, the interesting part is bringing different channels into the same analysis. An SEO team, for instance, can look at Search Console performance alongside GA4 behavior rather than judging a page only by clicks or average position.

Features

  • Connects to the marketing data sources supported by the Supermetrics Data API
  • Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, n8n, and other MCP-compatible applications
  • Uses OAuth 2.0 for individual users, so each person only sees the accounts they are permitted to access
  • Supports API-key authentication for server-to-server workflows
  • Pulls data through live API requests to the connected marketing platforms
  • Lets an agent discover available accounts, metrics, dimensions, and data sources
  • Can work across several connected platforms in the same analysis
  • Basic MCP setup does not require a developer, although custom applications and more technical workflows may
  • Supermetrics says customer data is not used to train public AI models

You can connect your Supermetrics account, add the MCP endpoint to a compatible client, authorize access, and start querying. A 14-day free trial is currently available with no credit card details required, so you can try it worry-free.

What Can You Do With It?

  • Connect SEO with website results: Compare Search Console performance with GA4 traffic and conversions for the same content.
  • Analyze acquisition: Break down GA4 traffic and results by channel, source, campaign, device, country, or other available fields.
  • Find valuable content: See which organic pages attract traffic and which ones contribute to conversions.
  • Compare paid channels: Review Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other connected advertising sources together.
  • Investigate changes: Compare periods and examine where traffic, spend, leads, or conversions moved.
  • Create recurring reports: Ask for weekly or monthly summaries using current data from your connected accounts.
  • Connect ads with outcomes: Compare campaign spend and clicks with GA4, CRM, or ecommerce results when those sources are connected.
  • Review social performance: Pull available metrics from supported social and advertising platforms into one analysis.

Supermetrics itself documents an SEO workflow where Search Console performance is compared with Google Analytics traffic, followed by analysis of which content produces the most organic conversions. That is a good example of where this MCP earns its place. The value comes from connecting datasets that marketers often inspect separately.

Best for: SEO, performance marketing, growth, content, and agency teams that need to work with data from several marketing platforms through one AI connection.

6. Ahrefs MCP

Ahrefs MCP is the official hosted MCP server from Ahrefs. It brings live Ahrefs SEO and marketing data into AI tools, so you can research keywords, competitors, backlinks, rankings, and site issues without opening one report after another.

I think it becomes more useful when the job crosses several Ahrefs reports. Give the agent a list of competitors, for instance, and it can pull the data needed to compare their organic growth, rankings, or backlink profiles in one conversation.

Features

  • Official remote MCP server hosted by Ahrefs
  • No local server or coding required for the standard setup
  • Works with MCP-compatible clients including ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Lovable, n8n, and Opencrawl
  • Pulls data through Ahrefs API v3
  • Covers API-accessible data from Site Explorer, Keywords Explorer, SERP Overview, Rank Tracker, Site Audit, Batch Analysis, Brand Radar, and other supported Ahrefs reports
  • Uses authorization connected to your Ahrefs workspace
  • Workspace admins can set monthly API-unit limits for individual MCP keys
  • Your Ahrefs plan controls both monthly API units and how many rows the agent can retrieve per request

What Can You Do With It?

  • Keyword research: Pull search volume, Keyword Difficulty, traffic potential, trends, and keyword ideas.
  • Competitor research: Compare organic traffic, rankings, top pages, and growth across several sites.
  • Content gaps: Find first-page keywords competitors rank for that your site is missing.
  • Backlink research: Compare backlinks, referring domains, anchors, and link growth.
  • Link opportunities: Find competitor pages attracting links and investigate their referring domains.
  • Rank tracking: Query available Rank Tracker data for keywords already tracked in Ahrefs.
  • Technical SEO: Pull Site Audit issues and inspect affected crawled pages.
  • Content planning: Combine keyword, SERP, competitor, and backlink information while researching a topic.
  • International SEO: Compare organic performance and competitors across countries.
  • AI visibility: Query supported Brand Radar mentions, citations, responses, and share-of-voice data when your account has the required access.

You do need the right subscription for your useage. Ahrefs MCP is available on Lite, Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise. The paid Starter plan does not include it. There is no additional MCP fee, but requests consume the API & Integration units included with your subscription.

If you are building software rather than chatting with Ahrefs through an AI client, use the right route. Ahrefs says custom scripts and standalone HTTP/JSON-RPC clients should use the public API instead of its external MCP endpoint. Products that need users to connect their own Ahrefs accounts can use Ahrefs Connect.

Best for: SEO teams, agencies, content marketers, and growth teams already using Ahrefs who want to research keywords, competitors, backlinks, rankings, and technical SEO from an AI assistant.

7. HubSpot MCP

HubSpot MCP is HubSpot’s official remote MCP server for connecting its marketing and customer data to an AI assistant.

For marketers, the key benefit is access to the work already inside HubSpot. An agent can read campaigns, landing pages, website pages, blog posts, marketing events, and available content-performance data without asking you to export each report first.

HubSpot has also added landing-page creation to the MCP. You can work on a page with an AI assistant, review what it produces, and approve publishing when it is ready.

Features

  • Official remote MCP server hosted by HubSpot
  • Available across HubSpot accounts, with actual access depending on your subscription and user permissions
  • Connects through https://mcp.hubspot.com
  • Uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE
  • Reads campaigns and campaign metrics
  • Reads landing pages, website pages, blog posts, and marketing events
  • Pulls content metrics including views, form submissions, new contacts, bounce rate, CTA performance, and traffic sources
  • Can create and edit landing pages from an existing HubSpot template or a cloned page
  • Landing-page tools can change copy, headlines, CTAs, sections, styles, and form embeds
  • Requires explicit confirmation before an AI assistant publishes a landing page
  • Access is limited by the permissions of the HubSpot user who connects it

To set it up, you create an MCP Auth App inside HubSpot and connect an OAuth-with-PKCE compatible client. HubSpot’s remote MCP is available across account tiers, although some underlying marketing features depend on the HubSpot plan you have. HubSpot currently has a $0 Free plan, and Marketing Hub Professional has a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.

What Can You Do With It?

  • Review campaigns: Pull campaign details and available campaign metrics into an AI conversation.
  • Analyze content: Compare the performance of landing pages, blog posts, and website pages.
  • Find conversion pages: See which content is producing form submissions or new contacts.
  • Review traffic sources: Check where visitors to individual pieces of HubSpot content are coming from.
  • Study CTA performance: Pull available CTA results alongside page performance.
  • Create landing pages: Ask the assistant to build a page from an existing template or cloned page.
  • Edit campaign pages: Change headlines, copy, CTAs, sections, styling, or embedded forms through prompts.
  • Research marketing events: Retrieve marketing-event information available in your HubSpot account.

There are some clear boundaries. The remote MCP currently reads campaigns, blog posts, and website pages, but HubSpot specifically documents write and publishing support for landing pages. It also does not cover bulk landing-page operations, A/B test creation, custom module creation, or first-time website setup.

The best part is that HubSpot’s remote MCP doesn't cost extra and is available across HubSpot accounts, including the free tier. What the agent can actually access still depends on your HubSpot subscription and user permissions, so paid Marketing Hub features remain tied to the appropriate plan. HubSpot also offers a 14-day Marketing Hub Professional trial with no credit card required.

Best for: Marketing and content teams already using HubSpot that want an AI assistant to review campaign and content performance, investigate website results, and help create landing pages using the data and assets already inside HubSpot.

8. Klaviyo MCP

Klaviyo MCP brings Klaviyo’s email, SMS, customer, campaign, flow, and audience data into an AI assistant.

I already use Templated for creative automation, so it feels like a natural fit. One side can handle repeatable campaign creative, while Klaviyo gives the agent access to the audience, lifecycle, and campaign data behind what gets sent.

That makes this MCP particularly useful for retention marketing. Klaviyo expanded it again in August 2026 with 260+ new tools, adding much broader control over segments, campaigns, flows, catalogs, and other account data.

Features

  • Official remote MCP server from Klaviyo
  • Hosted at https://mcp.klaviyo.com/mcp
  • Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other compatible remote MCP clients
  • Uses OAuth for the recommended hosted connection
  • Remote access requires a Klaviyo Owner, Admin, or Manager role
  • Covers campaigns, flows, segments, lists, profiles, templates, forms, events, reporting, catalogs, and other supported Klaviyo data
  • Can create and update supported campaigns, flows, segments, and templates
  • Includes campaign and flow performance reports
  • Supports HTML and drag-and-drop email templates
  • Offers a read-only mode when you only want the agent analyzing account data
  • Can be limited to roughly 40 core tools if your AI client works better with a smaller tool set

Klaviyo says the MCP is available to its customers. Its current Free plan includes up to 250 active profiles, 500 email sends per month, and $5 of mobile messages per month, so you can start testing it without taking a paid Klaviyo plan.

What Can You Do With It?

  • Analyze campaigns: Review available email and SMS campaign performance.
  • Check flows: Compare automated flows and see how they perform.
  • Build campaigns: Create, update, clone, and work with supported campaigns.
  • Work on emails: Create, edit, clone, and preview email templates.
  • Build segments: Create audiences from customer data already held in Klaviyo.
  • Manage flows: Create flows and update supported flow actions or status.
  • Run SMS campaigns: Work with SMS campaigns when the account supports SMS and recipients have the required consent.
  • Work with lists and profiles: Manage supported list membership and marketing subscriptions.
  • Review forms: Pull form data and available performance information.
  • Use product data: Access catalog items and variants when that data exists in Klaviyo.

For retention teams, the value is how much of the workflow lives in one place. An agent can look at campaign results, inspect an audience, prepare the next message, and then use Klaviyo’s own tools to work on the campaign.

I would still be careful with write access on a live account. Klaviyo lets you switch the MCP to read-only mode, restrict it to selected tools, and disable tools that expose user-generated content to the model.

Best for: Ecommerce and retention marketing teams using Klaviyo for email, SMS, segmentation, automated flows, and campaign reporting.

FAQs

How do I use an MCP server for marketing?

Choose an MCP-compatible AI client, connect the server, authorize your account or API key, and then give the agent a specific task.

Most servers in this list are hosted by the companies themselves, so setup is fairly straightforward. The unofficial Google Search Console MCP needs more technical setup, including Google Cloud credentials.

What is the difference between MCP and an API?

An API lets software request data or perform actions through specific endpoints.

MCP gives an AI agent a standard way to discover and use those tools on its own. Many MCP servers here still use the company’s API underneath, but you can work with them through natural-language requests instead of manually choosing every endpoint.

Do I need coding knowledge to use these MCP servers?

For most of this list, no. Templated, PostPeer, Ahrefs, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Supermetrics, and ScrapeBadger offer hosted MCP connections. You mainly need to connect your account and authorize access. Open-source options such as the Google Search Console MCP usually require more setup.

Can I use more than one MCP server at the same time?

Yes, if your AI client supports multiple MCP connections.

You could research a campaign with ScrapeBadger, generate the creative with Templated, and schedule it through PostPeer. The useful part is letting one agent work across different stages of the marketing workflow.

Are MCP servers safe to use with marketing accounts?

They can be, but check permissions before connecting them. Use read-only access when possible, especially for analytics. For servers that can publish, edit campaigns, or change account data, keep approval steps in place before the agent takes important actions.

Are marketing MCP servers free?

It depends on the product behind them. Some have free plans or trials, while others require an existing paid subscription. Ahrefs MCP, for example, starts with the Lite plan, while HubSpot makes its MCP available across account tiers. Always check plan access and API or credit limits before choosing one.

Can MCP servers automate an entire marketing workflow?

They can handle several connected steps, especially when your AI client supports multiple MCP servers.

A workflow could research a topic with ScrapeBadger, create the visual with Templated, and schedule the post through PostPeer. You should still keep human review around messaging, budgets, publishing, and other high-impact actions.

Are MCP servers safe to connect to marketing accounts?

They can be, but the risk depends on what access you give them.

For reporting tools, use read-only access when it is available. If an MCP can publish posts, edit campaigns, update customer data, or change live assets, keep approval steps in place and grant only the permissions the agent needs.

I would also favor MCP servers provided by the companies in this list over unknown third-party or open-source servers on GitHub when account access is involved. Open-source servers can be free and useful, but they may also introduce additional security risks.

Conclusion

MCP has become useful to me for the same reason automation did years ago. It cuts out work I should not be doing manually.

For marketing, that could mean pulling SEO data, checking campaign performance, generating creatives, scheduling posts, or working with email audiences from the AI tool already open on your screen.

I wouldn’t connect eight MCP servers on day one. Pick the repetitive job taking up your time, try the server that fits it, and see whether it earns a place in your workflow.

If creative production is one of those jobs, you can sign up for Templated and get 50 free credits to test it. I also share practical automation workflows on the Templated blog if you want to build beyond MCP.
